The Most Viewed Captions On This Blog (Meta-Post)
Hi everyone! Although I have been working on a few captions these last few weeks, I've found myself having little inspiration and no clear solution to my writer's block. And yet, I do want to keep posting things on this blog...
The solution?
Instead of writing a caption, I can write about captions.
In particular, I've decided go over the captions with the most views in this blog and comment on them! It won't be anything too detailed, but I think it will be fun to let you know about the sorts of things that only the author knows and not the audience.
Victims Of The Great Shift #6 is by far the caption with the most views (about 1.5k at this point). It is also the first collaboration I did with FemaleFantasy's TG Captions, which easily explains why this is the most viewed post in my blog. I'm currently working on another set of captions with them, so stay tuned for that!
Fun fact: The next five captions with the most views are (in order of highest to lowest) Victims Of The Great Shift #1, #4, #7, #5, and #3 respectively!
"Good Luck On No Nut November" is the caption with most views that is not a Victims Of The Great Shift caption (almost 800 views). Interestingly enough, it is also the first caption which has the Explicit tag for well... nutty reasons.
More seriously though, although this blog focuses on MTF plots like most other TG captions blogs out there, I also like to involve FTM plots whenever I can (you know, if a man ended up in a woman's body, it means that a woman ended up in a man's body as well). A story where a woman thinks she can beat No Nut November only to unsurprisingly fail it is too good of a story to pass. Also, it's sequel is not far behind in terms of views.
After "Good Luck On No Nut November", Getting Ready To Meet The Parents is the following post with the most views (around 750 views).
This is also the first caption which I am surprised it actually has so many views. I had already written some captions involving language and mental changes (in this case, memory transfers), but this is the first one which really got a lot of traction. These are some of my favorite tropes, so I'll definitely keep writing more captions like this one!
Skipping over Victims Of The Great Shift #2 and the sequel to "Good Luck On Not Nut November", it is Sydney Is Taking Over My Life! which follows in terms of views (around 700 views).
Not only does this caption involve the mental change trope I really like, but it's also one of those few captions where the woman has ultimately selfish aims to the detriment of the guy who she forced to be in her body. Forcefully transferring her memories to him while she receives some of his in return is indeed a sinister (but rather entertaining) plot indeed!
Finally, it is Your Destinations In Europe which follows in terms of views (around 650 views in total).
Not only does this this caption roughly mark the 1st-year anniversary of this blog (and hence is a nice conclusion to this list), but it's probably one of the most challenging captions I've written given the 21 different scenarios I had to write. I probably won't make a caption as big as this one in some time, but who knows? Maybe we might end up having another continent/region as a destination...
This is all for now, but I hope you enjoyed this behind-the-scenes look at the most viewed captions in this blog! If there is interest, I could keep doing more of this kind of posts and talk about other behind-the-scenes stuff such as which are my favorite captions or how I approach caption writing itself.
I want to finish by saying that I also have my other blog Connelly's TG Transformation Stories where I also write TG captions, but involving fictional characters instead. If you think I'm having a writer's block for this blog, then you have no idea how much more I'm having it for that blog. Thus, if any of you have any requests and/or ideas in mind, please let me know (the same applies to this blog as well).
I have a lot of ideas of stories can i suggest you some?
