Still Walking Down The Aisle
Ever since that unforgettable night when he finally proposed to his girlfriend Mina, Alfonso had been eagerly waiting for the day of their wedding.
And at last, that wonderful day had arrived, but not without quite the unexpected twist.
All this time, he had imagined that he was going to be the one observing his soon-to-be wife Mina, perfectly clad in a bridal dress fit for a beautiful woman as her, walk down the aisle and up to the altar in order to say their vows to one another and become husband and wife. It wasn't until now that he finally came to terms with the fact that it was going to be him who was going to be wearing the bridal dress and walking down the aisle.
Why?
Because just a week before they were to be wed, the two of them woke up in each other's bodies.
There was no hint that some sort of undisclosed paranormal or extraterrestrial event was the cause of their swap or that someone had intentionally done this to them.
They simply just swapped bodies with each other.
And with no clear cause as to why this has happened to them, it looked as if they were going to remain in each other's bodies for good.
Despite the two of them already knowing each other's bodies quite well due to how long they had been together by this point, neither of them were happy about their current situation. To say a few things, Mina detested that she now had to shave her stubble every other week, that she couldn't wear her favorite dresses anymore, or that she could now get a sudden erection at any random moment. Likewise, Alfonso hated that he was now a foot smaller than he formerly was, that he now had to deal with some backpain because of how much his new breasts weighed down on his chest, or that he didn't have anything between his legs anymore.
And yet, despite all of these issues, one thing was still very clear:
Postponing the wedding didn't make any sense at all.
Not only were they still in love and still wanted to become husband and wife, but postponing the wedding would simply mean that they would have to start explaining why they decided to do so, only to then organize a new date for the wedding itself!
And neither of them was in the mood to start doing that.
Thus, their wedding day finally arrived, and all they could really do was simply pretend to be each other and that everything was fine. Of course, that was going to be difficult because of so many things such as having to interact with each others' friends and families or making sure that their corresponding outfits were properly tailored, but what other option did they have?
Alfonso still wanted to have the wedding, but a big part of him just wanted to be done with it as quickly as possible so that he and Mina could go to their honeymoon where they could finally take a break from everyone else and come to terms with their unique situation at their own speed.
Of course, this meant that certain topics he formerly wanted to address, such as when should the two of them try to have a child together, were definitely going to be postponed for later. He could barely still process the fact that he was now a woman and a soon-to-be wife, but becoming a mother?!
That was simply too much for him at this moment.
